The University of Maryland's University College offers an online Master of Business Administration program. Forbes magazine named the MBA program one of the "Top 20 Cyber Universities" in the world, and it is fully approved by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools' Commission on Higher Education.

From the outset, the curriculum is intended to integrate into students' lives and be useful to their present employment conditions. Its rapid pace assists students in applying what they have learned in the curriculum as soon as feasible in their professional environment. The courses are intended to investigate management and organizational processes and apply them to a global corporate setting.

The MBA program consists of 43 credits, including a 1-credit foundation course and seven 6-credit seminars. Each session lasts 14 weeks. Students get three weeks of vacation between seminars. Students are divided into cohorts of roughly 30 students who remain together throughout the MBA program. Each cohort is given a facilitator.

MBA Fundamentals (1 credit); The Role of Managers and Organizations in Society (6 credits); The Dynamics of Individuals and Groups in Work Organizations (6 credits); The Marketing of New Ideas (6 credits); Technology and Operations Management (6 credits); Economics of Management Decisions (6 credits); Organizations and the External Environment (6 credits); and Strategic Action Planning/Elective Component (6 credits) are the seminars required to complete the online MBA program. In addition, during their first six credits of study, all students must take a noncredit course called Introduction to Graduate Library Research Skills.

Experts in the subject teach the lectures. Each member of the faculty has substantial professional and managerial experience. Furthermore, more than 89 percent of them have a PhD degree. Students are also assigned a facilitator who will accompany them throughout the program.

The MBA program at the University of Maryland University College features a shortened general admissions procedure that may be completed online. The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) are not required for admission to their online MBA program.

To apply, prospective students must fill out an online admissions application, submit an application fee, and write a personal statement. Applicants will get further instructions on submitting transcripts and other important information after their application has been accepted. An application's status may be followed online.

Students who complete the U of MD University College MBA program have the option of pursuing a dual degree. Students may notify the institution at any time throughout the MBA program that they want to pursue a second degree in one of the following areas: Master of International Master of Science in Management, Master of Science in E-Commerce, or Master of Science in Health Care Administration. Students have a full seven years to finish their dual degree after completing the first graduate course.
